How is attendance monitored?
Student attendance is taken every period and entered into our attendance database. Attendance is monitored and parents are called to verify any attendance concerns.

My child has an appointment or is going to be absent from class. Does the school need to know?
It is best if the school is notified of a student's absence in advance when possible. It saves you the inconvenience of our inquiry.
If a student is going to be absent for a day parents can simply call the school. If your call is outside of regular office hours just leave a message on our attendance line and we will update our attendance records.
If, after your child has arrived in the morning, a student is only going to miss part of the day we ask that you send a note with your child verifying their need to miss some of their classes. When they are scheduled to leave we ask that students sign out of the school in the office so we can keep accurate count of all students we are responsible for.

If you have any other questions, please contact the school and we would be happy to help you.
