Welcome to the new school year at T.D. Baker Junior High School. What an exciting time of the year! Students and staff have begun the annual process of welcoming our students and continuing along their journey in education.

My name is Darren Fox and I have the privilege of being the principal at T.D. Baker School. This is my tenth year as a principal; previously I was the principal at Westminster Junior High School for the past six years. I am excited about joining the T.D. Baker family.

We are a school emphasizing excellence. Our current enrolment is 600 students. This is a testament to the success achieved at T.D. Baker School. Our mission is to Prepare Our Students of Today For The Challenges of Tomorrow. Our success is achieved through the commitment, support and talent of the T.D. Baker team: the staff, students, parents and the community. Together, we have the ability to provide exciting and rewarding learning opportunities for our students.

The type and level of communication between the school and the home is critical to support the success of our students. To that end, our goal is to establish a positive, effective working relationship. This can only be achieved through a healthy and respectful work environment. Should any situations arise where you have questions or concerns regarding our programming or decision making, we encourage you to contact the person(s) directly involved to solve the problem. It is our expectation that staff will respond promptly and professionally to these concerns.
